I have lived in: Daingerfield for 33 years until my wife and I bought a home in Lone Star.
Family: Wife, Brandi Watkins; daughter, Makayla Watkins; daughter, Makenzie Watkins; and my son, Matthew Watkins Jr.
Pets: Cocker Spaniel named Bocephus, a weiner dog named Abbi, and my Pit Bull named C.J.
Occupation: Dispatcher for American Eagle.
One of the best things about my job is: It is inside out of the weather. I hate working outside in the freezing rain or the blitzing heat.
My ideal vacation is: Taking my wife on a cruise.
My hero is: Jesus because he paid a debt for me and you, so we could all have everlasting life.
My favorite TV show is: I don’t watch T.V. unless it’s NASCAR or the NFL.
My favorite healthy snack is: Boiled cabbage and cornbread.
A cause I most believe in is: Setting examples for my kids to live on, so that they will be successful in life.
If I could change one thing about East Texas, it would be: The economy.
The persons who have influenced my life most are: My parents. I know I was a hard child to raise, but they still showed me love and support.
The scariest thing that ever happened to me was: Back in 2003 and that’s all I can say about that.
If I had to do it all over again, I’d: Go on to college and get a degree.
The most exciting or dangerous thing I’ve ever done was: Drive a truck for 13 years and working my way up to the desk job.
If I won a trip to anywhere, I would go to: Paris, France.
I would have liked to participate in the historical event of: The Lord’s Supper.
Two words that describe me are: Kind and caring.
Included on my bucket list is: Taking my kids to Disney World.
I wish I had the courage to: Go bungee jumping.
