Hughes Springs’ students fared well at the Liberty-Eylau Varsity Tennis Tournament Feb. 23. Hayden Smith captured first place in the boys’ singles, while Shane Finney and Andy Nolan placed first in the boys’ doubles. Luis Dorantes and Juan Rios took second place in the boys’ doubles. Smith, left, and Nolan are in the front row; and in the back, from left, are Rios, Dorantes, and Finney.
