Lone Star Fire Marshal Bobby Livingston hands Dale Shirley, right, of the Lone Star Volunteer Fire Department a plaque for winning the Fireman of the Year Award. Lone Star VFD Chief Karl Stoermer looks on during the presentation. Mr. Shirley attended 111 events totaling 91 hours during 2012.
