 Class Reunion
A class reunion for the Traylor High Alumni has been tentatively scheduled for Aug. 17 at the old Traylor High School on Pecan Street in Hughes Springs. The goal is to contact former students who graduated or attended Traylor School. For further information, contact Elaine Traylor Roquemore at 903-619-3505.
 
Book Study
Ladies 18-49 are studying from Stormie Omartian’s book “The Power of a Praying Woman” Sundays at 9:45 a.m. The ladies meet at Mt. Mitchell Church of Christ, 6238 FM 144 North.
 
Basketball Tournament
The Black Community Scholarship Basketball Tournament fund-raiser will be held March 22 and 23 at the Daingerfield High School gym. All teams interested in helping or playing, contact Margine Mims at 903-645-4693
 
New Hours
The office of Precinct 2 justice of the peace and municipal judge for the city of Hughes Springs Gina Bassham changed hours effective Feb. 25. The office will be closed on Mondays, and open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. including lunch hour Tuesday through Friday.

Book Club
The Noon Book Lovers Club will meet Thursday at the Daingerfield Public Library.  For more information call the library at 903-645-2823.

Book Sale
Friends of the Daingerfield Public Library will hold its seventh annual book sale on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Morris County Courthouse Annex.  

Easter Egg Hunt
The Daingerfield Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30, at the Daingerfield State Park beginning at 10 a.m.

GED Classes
The Adult Education Department at Northeast Texas Community College will offer free General Education Development (GED) classes at the West Elementary Cafeteria in Daingerfield. Students interested in attending classes must enroll in a 12-hour orientation on March 19, 21, 26, and 28 from 5 to 8 p.m. Regular classes begin on April 2. Call 903-434-8252 for more information.
