Moore retired the side in the first inning. He then struck out the side in the second inning, but Frank Mitchell reached first base on a passed ball before being thrown out trying to steal second base by Mustang catcher Chad McKinney. Moore again retired the side in the third frame for Hughes Springs before giving up the lone hit of the game to Indian leadoff hitter Erin Bowen. Dalton Vale hit into a 6-4-3 double play, and Moore fanned the next batter Austin Truit to get out of the fourth inning just facing the minimal 12 batters. Moore added two more strikeouts and a groundout in the fifth inning to end the game with nine strikeouts, no walks, and he only gave up one hit on the night. Moore improved his record to 13-0 on the season.
