Full name: Linda Diane Nunley Martin.
I have lived in: Hughes Springs for 39 years.
Family: Husband, Terry Martin; son, Don Allen Munden; and daughter, Barbara Munden.
Pets: I have two dogs, LJ and Marley. They are my babies.
Occupation: I am the food service director at Daingerfield-Lone Star ISD.
One of the best things about my job is: To see the students when they begin high school and watch how they change during the years before they graduate.
My ideal vacation is: To go to Yellowstone National Park.
My heroes are: My parents because they were always there for me no matter what. They taught me to always be true to myself, to finish any job I started, and always treat people fairly.
My favorite TV show is: Law and Order.
My favorite healthy snack is: Trail Mix.
A cause I most believe in is: To Trust in God and the 2nd Amendment.
If I could change one thing about East Texas, it would be: The weather.
The person who has influenced my life the most is: My daughter who has SMA. She has always been strong willed and never gives up. I admire her inner strength. She is a very loving and outgoing person who wants to be treated normally. God gave me a perfect angel. She has made me realize that you have stay strong and fight for the things that you believe in.
The scariest thing that ever happened to me was: Tubing down the Current River in Missouri and almost drowning before I got to the end of the ride.
If I had to do it all over again I would: Not change a thing.
The most exciting thing I’ve ever done is: Ride the Cliff Hanger at Six Flags.
If I won a trip to anywhere, I would go: To Niagara Falls.
Two words to describe me are: Independent and strong.
Included on my bucket list are: To travel on the AmTrak train across the country and go to all the baseball parks.
I wish I had the courage to: Ride a motorcycle instead being the passenger on one.
