Services for Gay Joseph (J.L.) Gay, 95, of Linden, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 9, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden with Kevin Holt officiating. Interment will follow in Center Hill Cemetery. Mr. Gay was born April 27, 1918, in Daingerfield, to Joseph Samuel Lee Gay and Mattie Sewell Gay, and died at Aug. 6 at his home in the Center Hill Community.
