Falls
Services for Laverne Falls, 86, of Carrollton, formerly of Daingerfield, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 1, at the Daingerfield Church of Christ with Tim Gibbs and Norman Miller officiating. Interment will be in the Daingerfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
Mrs. Falls was born Dec. 7, 1926, in Daingerfield and died Aug. 29, in Frisco.
She was a member of the Daingerfield Church of Christ, and former employee of GTE and Smith Clinic.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William James “Bill” Falls.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Diane Falls of Frisco; grandsons, Ryan Falls and wife, Chrissy of Carrollton, Mitch Falls and wife, Charity of Plano and Jason Brown of Little Elm; granddaughter, Leslie Wright and husband, Roddy of Frisco; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, James Walker and Welton “Dude” Walker, both of Daingerfield; sisters, Ollie Mae Jones of Baytown and Sue Sloan of Daingerfield.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
