Pancake Supper
The Daingerfield Lions Club Pancake Supper will be held Sept. 6 at the Daingerfield High School cafeteria. Food will be served from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. before the football game. Take outs and tickets are available at the door.
Homecoming
The annual Floyd Hill Homecoming will be held Sunday, Sept. 8, at the Red Hill Community Center located at the intersection of Highway 8 and Farm-to-Market Road 995.
The president will give a devotional at 11:30 a.m., with a covered dish luncheon to follow. The cemetery business meeting will be held after lunch. With the cost of upkeep for the church, church grounds and cemetery, all interested parties are urged to attend.

Caregiver’s Support Group
There will be a Caregiver’s Support Group meeting every Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. in the conference room at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Linden. For further information, call Kathy Johnson at 903-756-9868.
Woman Day
The Pine Bluff Baptist Church will celebrate Woman Day on Sept. 8 at 2:30 p.m. Wayne Robinson and the Wallick Chapel Christian Church of Daingerfield will be the special guests. The public is invited.
Senior Stangs
The first luncheon of the Hughes Springs Mustang Senior Stangs will be held on Thursday, Sept. 19 in the high school library.
Class reunion
The Daingerfield High School Class of 1983 will have its 30th year reunion this year over Homecoming weekend, Oct. 18 and 19. Activities will include attending the high school football game on Friday night, a Saturday lunch picnic at the Daingerfield State Park and dinner at 7 p.m. at Don Juan’s Mexican Restaurant in Hughes Springs. Wedding of Roses
The Unity District Baptist Association’s youth department will present the Wedding of Roses on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 5:30 p0.m. The evening will be highlighted with the performance of a 50-voice youth choir under the direction of Raphel Huckaby, assisted by Brenda Patterson and Linda Maxie. The public is invited to attend.
Law Enforcement
The Office of the Attorney General, Crime Victims’ Compensation Program plans a presentation on Sexual Assault Exam Reimbursement to law enforcement hosted by Cass County District Attorney Victim Services on Sept. 12 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The presentation will be held at the Cass County Law Enforcement and Justice Center in Linden at Judge Barbara McMillon’s second floor office.
