Alvis Services for Vivian Houston Alvis, 99, of Texarkana, formerly of Linden, will be held Saturday, Sept. 14, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden with Doug Freeman officiating. Interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery. Mr. Alvis was born Aug. 27, 1914, in Cass County to Thomas H. and Matilda Kehr Alvis and died Sept. 12 in Texarkana.
