Services for John Nathaniel Wright, 84, of Rocky Branch, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 20, at the First United Methodist Church in Naples with the Rev. Mike Fraley officiating. Interment will be in Springhill Cemetery in Naples
Mr. Wright was born Nov. 3, 1928, in Rocky ranch to Clyde Nathaniel and Johnnie Mae Wright, and died Sept. 15 at his home.
Mr. Wright was retired from Lone Star Steel Company where he was a millwright. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Naples. He also was a 50-plus year member of the Belden Masonic Lodge in Naples.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Wright in 1955; and his parents.
Survivors include one son, Kevin Nathaniel Wright of Jacksonville; two daughters and one son-in-law, Michele and Ed Wesson and Cindi Caraway, all of Rocky Branch; one brother, George Gilliam of Rocky Branch; one sister, Sue Alexander of Longview; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.
