Hometown Person
Full name: Sabrina M. Gonzales.
I have lived in: Several areas growing up but the most recent were Daingerfield, Texarkana, and Hope, Ark.
Family: Fiancee’ Dallas R. Morris, Son 8, Payton, Claire 3, and baby, Silas Lee.
Pets: Beta Fish named Karl and Billy Goat named Billy.
Occupation: Stay at home mom and preparing to go back to school to finish my teaching certification for early childhood education.
One of the best things about my job is: I am on the clock available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. If anyone needs me they do not have to make appointments.
My ideal vacation is: Waves splashing against my body while the sun bakes my skin, with sunscreen on it of course.
My hero is: Dallas, and for no other reason than he is the one who is my light in the dark. I could not be any happier than I am with the man I love and share a family with. Happiness is the key to a healthy life.
My favorite TV show is: America’s Funniest Videos … after all these years.
A cause I most believe in is: Supporting the Wounded Military Foundation. Those guys put their lives on the line, come home with all these new disabilities they did not have prior to going to war and just giving them financial peace of mind is not even quiet enough, but it does help. We should be more thankful for our veterans.
The person who has influenced my life most is: My mother, I have seen her bury two of her own children, and her father, and she still manages to smile every day and be there for the rest of her family.
The scariest thing that ever happened to me was: Losing my daughter, Summer Skye.
If I had to do it all over again, I’d: Pay more attention, or hope I remembered what I had learned in the past life.
The most exciting or dangerous thing I’ve ever done was: I’m not a real dangerous person. But I picked up a snake by accident one time. It was a red and black king snake… not a red and black jump rope.
If I won a trip to anywhere, I would go to: Makayan I think? It’s in Greece.
I would have liked to participate in the historical event of: I’m not too fond of how it used to be. I appreciate the life of today, although back when gas prices were like 1.19 seems historical.
Two words that describe me are: Strong and faithful.
Included on my bucket list are: Skydiving.
I wish I had the courage to: Become a child psychology professor.
