Anderson
Services for Eula Belle Perry Anderson, 82, of Lone Star were held Oct. 8, at the Lone Star Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Monds officiating. Interment was in the Hughes Springs Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
Mrs. Anderson was born July 26, 1931, in Ponca City, Okla., to Eli and Beulah Perry and died on Oct. 5, in Longview. She was married to Jack Anderson in 1947 until his death in 2010.
Eula and Jack moved to Lone Star in 1947 and raised three children. She was a lifelong member of Lone Star Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery for many years. As a senior, she was also a very active member of the Bethany Sunday School Class and enjoyed her monthly Sunday school parties. She enjoyed watching her “Jeopardy program,” probably because she knew all the answers and excelled at cross-word puzzles.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was “Mimaw” to her own and many others.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack; and her son, Jack William Anderson Jr.
Survivors include her brother, David Perry; her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Bill Porter; her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Anita Anderson; grandchildren, Courtney Harris, Paige McCurdy, Brian Anderson, Zachary Anderson, Michael Anderson, and Craig Anderson; great-grandchildren, Colt, Annie, Quinn, Rory, Zoey, Kole, Jude, Layton, Cooper, Matthew, Brandon, Noah, Kaylee, and Landon Jack; and many nieces and nephews.
