No injuries occurred in a helicopter landing in northern Morris County on Oct. 23, according to Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Mark McKinney. The helicopter set down near County Road 3333 about 9 a.m.

“The pilot had engine failure and had a hard landing,” Trooper McKinney said. “The pilot, Jimmy Asbill of Winnsboro, was spraying property in the area.”

Trooper McKinney said a crane was brought in to remove the helicopter from the area.
