Banners are now up on light poles in Lone Star

Lone Star city employees and business owners teamed together to brighten up the city of Lone Star.
“The city employees wanted to put up banners or flags and the banners were sturdier,” Lone Star Police Chief Larry Fleet said. “The employees contacted businesses for donations and we ordered the banners. When they came in, the city employees installed them on the poles down Main Street.”
“We want to invest in the city of Lone Star and show pride in our town. Other cities in the area would give their right arm to have a lake to promote. These banners will show others that we are proud of our city and invite others to visit.”
