Lady Tigers run at Regional meet

The Daingerfield Lady Tiger cross county team was in action at the Regional Meet in Grand Prairie Nov. 2 as they ran the course at Joe Pool Lake.
The team of Sade Bunton, Yesenia Bravo, Marivy Olguin, Jordan Freeman, Alexius Williams, Nekoda Coleman and Kiara Anderson along with Alternates McKenzie Scott, Aiana Alexander and Jazmin Solis made the trip for the race.
The top three finishers for the Lady Tigers were Bunton, Bravo and Olguin as the group came in 22 as a team in a race that included more than 175 runners.
“I was very proud of these young ladies and their performance that Saturday,” head coach Dana Carter said. “Three of the team members ran their best times ever and we certainly have the foundation to build off of for the next year. If you see these young ladies out and about, make sure to give them a pat on the back for a job well done.”
