Farmer/rancher upset about roaming cattle

A Morris County resident said she is concerned about cattle running and getting on the roadways, especially in the evening hours.  Penny Knight of rural Naples said she does not want anyone to get killed on the highway if they hit a loose animal. Mrs. Knight talked to the Morris County Commissioners Nov. 12 about the problem of two feral Mexican cows in her area that jump as high as deer and clear fences. She said the cows roam constantly and if chased back to a fence, they easily jump over the fence.
