Gregory Godbolt is sentenced on numerous charges, including assault of a public servant

A Hughes Springs’ man was found guilty and sentenced recently in the Fifth District Court of Cass County by Judge Ralph K. Burgess on several charges.
Gregory Darnelle Godbolt, 31, of Hughes Springs, was sentenced to 30 years on a charge of robbery; 30 years for burglary of a habitation and burglary of a habitation, where he was entering with the intent to commit a felony; 30 years for aggravated assault on a public servant; 15 years for taking a weapon from a peace officer; and two terms of 90 days each for failure to identify and assault. The sentences are to run concurrently.  
Mr. Godbolt was found guilty by a Cass County Grand Jury on Aug. 23 on several charges, according to Cass County District Attorney Clint Allen.
