Whatley Center gears up to welcome the Boston Brass

It is time to get into the holiday spirit at Northeast Texas Community College. The world-famous Boston Brass will perform a Christmas show at The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m.  Joe Sibaja and Jeff Conner will perform on Trumpet, Chris Castellanos will play the horn, Lance Laduke will play trombone and euphonium, Andrew Hitz will play tuba and Dan Hostetler will be on drums.
“The Boston Brass are among the top brass performers in the country and we are thrilled to host them at the Whatley. I hope you will bring the whole family to enjoy their phenomenal talent and get into the Christmas spirit ,” Carolyn Franks, director of the Whatley Center, said.
For 26 years, Boston Brass has set out to establish a one-of-a-kind musical experience. From exciting classical arrangements, to burning jazz standards, and the best of the original brass quintet repertoire, Boston Brass treats audiences to a unique brand of entertainment, which captivates all ages. The ensemble’s lively repartee, touched with humor and personality, attempts to bridge the ocean of classical formality to delight audiences in an evening of great music and boisterous fun. The philosophy of Boston Brass is to provide audiences with a wide selection of musical styles in unique arrangements, provided in a friendly and fun atmosphere.
