Daingerfield Junior High Math Team captures third place

The Daingerfield Junior High Math Team competed at the Hallsville Math-Science meet on Nov. 16. The team came home with the third place overall trophy.  Queen City first place, Ore City was second, Spring Hill Fourth and McLeod was fifth.
In Number Sense Zach Gilmore placed fifth, Justice Dorman placed first with Victor Gonzalez with sixth place.
Zach won third in Calculator and Hannah Welch won fourth. Justice captured first place, Victor second, Hailey Byrd fourth, Jamie Nix fifth, and Ryan Lewis ninth.
In General Math, Zach placed seventh, Justice placed first, Ryan placed eighth and Jamie placed ninth.
Zach captured sixth place in Science with Hailey in second, Kiara Robinson in third, Justice in fifth, Ryan in seventh, and Victor in eighth.
Coaches for the event were David Brotherton and Pam Scheu.
