Farming and ranching workshop to be held

A farming and ranching workshop will be held Thursday, Dec. 12, at Northeast Texas Community College Ag Complex at 6:30 p.m.
The workshop features speakers with the Texas Small Farmers and Ranchers Community Based Organization and local U.S. Department of Agriculture agencies.
This workshop will provide an opportunity to connect agriculture producers with experts from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)/Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to learn about available programs such as Agriculture Financial Assistance through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) and Conservation Easements. These outreach workshops encourage an open forum for education and awareness and are open to the public.
