DWI Tree
Daingerfield High School students joined with Pay Attention East Texas and the Texas Department of Transportation in sponsoring a driving while intoxicated (DWI) tree at the school this year to bring awareness of the dangers of impaired drivers during the holidays. During 2012 there were 15 DWI-related crashes in Morris County, resulting in 15 serious injuries and one fatality. Pictured, from left, are students Austin Swain, Sam Fowler, Delaney Smith, Bobbie McRae, Payton Watkins, LaQuariouis Frazier, Cassidy Shaver, Reyna Soto, Austin Mattox and School Resource Officer Tobias Frazier.
