English class wishes to honor hometown heroes

Lisa Moreland’s English IV classes at Hughes Springs High School would like the opportunity to recognize and honor our own Hughes Springs heroes.  
The class is asking for help in determining who these remarkable, possibly unsung, heroes may be.  If you know someone who lives within the Hughes Springs school district (applicants must reside within the Hughes Springs Independent School District) and you feel that he/she should be recognized for the following:  community involvement, service to others, generosity, philanthropic acts, kindness, selflessness, or for any other reason you deem valid, please complete this application and return it to the Hughes Springs High School office or Hughes Springs City Hall.
