High school library’s new carpet made a great improvement in appearance

With the emphasis on showing the Daingerfield-Lone Star Independent School board of trustees the new library flooring, the board’s Dec. 16 meeting was held at the high school library.
Superintendent Sandra Quarles gave an update on the construction at the junior high and the high school. The construction is covered under a $5.4 million bond that is a Qualified School Construction Bond that voters approved at the polls.
“I have gone through the list and everything that is completed is in red bold letters in your packet,” Mrs. Quarles said. “Last week the new DVR was installed and also four or five cameras. They were working with them and aiming for the best angles.”
