Officer T.J. Frazier is new resource officer at Daingerfield schools

Student safety is always a primary consideration for the Daingerfield-Lone Star School District. Several steps have been added this year to strengthen each school’s security. The district is happy to announce the addition of a School Resource Officer, T.J. Frazier, who will be primarily based at the high school, but will have a presence at all of the schools.
 “A primary duty of the school resource officer is to ensure the safety of the faculty and students,” Officer Frazier said. “We also teach students about several different topics including bullying, drug education, community policing, and doing the right thing. This will strengthen the relationship between the community and the police department. I believe having a school resource officer is a step in the right direction to achieving an exemplary campus.”
