Services for Carolyn Abernathy, 72, of Ore City, formerly of Hughes Springs, will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, Jan. 6, at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs with Mark Markle and Ricky Vestal officiating. Interment will follow at Hughes Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Abernathy was born Aug. 5, 194,1 in Hughes Springs and died Jan. 3, in Tyler.
