Area students excel academically at Northeast Texas Community College

Northeast Texas Community College is pleased to recognize students who excelled academically in the fall of 2013. To be named to the Academic Honors list, a student must have taken 12 or more hours and earned at least a 3.5 grade point average. To be named to the Special Academic Merit List, a student must have taken between seven and 11 hours and earned a 4.0 grade point average. Students receiving honors were:
Avinger
Alisha Richardson and Missi Viola received Academic Honors, with Jacob Richardson receiving Special Academic Merit.
Daingerfield
Receiving Academic Honors from Daingerfield are Cody Bassett, Byron Baxter, David Brantley, Billy Crocker, April Driggers, Warren Edmonds, Zachary Ferris, Montrika Garrett, Haley Guest, Casey Hill, Andre’ Lee, Kevin Moore, Eva Muniz, Taylor Perry, Amanda Phillips, Cassidy Shaver, Jean Taylor, Brenen Thomas, Johnathon Thomas, Cheryl Webb and Mackenzie Wertz.
Those capturing the Special Academic Merit include Ashley Bankard, Justin Carter, Dianna McKay, Kyle Sands and William Yocum.
