Virginia Payne

Payne Services for Virginia Payne, 90 of Lone Star will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at Daingerfield Church of Christ with Tim Gibbs and Norman Miller officiating. Interment will be in Iron Bluff Cemetery in Lone Star. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Mrs. Payne was born Aug. 21, 1923, in Campbell County, Tenn. to Russell and Chloe Barnes and died Jan. 9, in Longview. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, S.L. Payne; and her parents. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Jackie Lee of Lone Star; son and daughter-in-law, Pat and Dana Payne of Fort Collins, Colo.; five grand- children, Russell Payne of St. Augustine, Fla., Andy Payne of Los Angeles, Calif., Angela Mays of Daingerfield, Amanda Spiess of Longview, and Eric Miller of Fort Collins; and six great-grandchildren.
