It looks like qualifications do matter

We have heard for years elections have consequences. Back in 2008 everyone wanted to be a part of history. At least that’s what they said. A majority of Americans thought it would be a good idea to elect a man, not for his qualifications, but rather because he was a good speaker. So they elected a man who had no business experience had never held a job in the private sector, who had never made a payroll, who had no foreign policy experience, and had never served in the military. This man was acquainted with individuals who had documented ties to Marxist and communist teachings throughout his life. Even with all of this evidence they somehow thought it would be a good idea to make this person the leader of the greatest nation on earth. Well, how has that experiment worked out for you?
Let’s fast forward to today. What have we got to show for our efforts? We have unemployment numbers that are higher than any time in the past two decades. Oh you say that’s not what the numbers the government puts out shows? Guess what those numbers have not been accurate from day one. How can that be you ask? They have been proven to have been manipulated to make certain people look good. 92 million people have dropped out of the work force all together (that’s 25 percent of the population). Unemployment claims are still at monthly levels of 300,000 new claims a week. Job creation is half what it needs to be to keep up with population growth. So how can the unemployment number come down? It can’t, unless you need it to in order to get re-elected. Food stamp usage has expanded from 27 million recipients to 46 million in the past five years. Gas prices continue to stay high mainly due to the refusal by this administration to seek out and use our own energy resources. It has been proven that we have more oil available here than Saudi Arabia and Iraq combined.
