Father/Daughter Valentine dances are Saturday night

Daingerfield and Hughes Springs will each hold Father/Daughter Valentine Dances in their cities.
The sixth annual Father/Daughter Valentine Dance will be held in Hughes Springs on Feb. 8. The event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Legacy an Event Center. It is sponsored by the Hughes Springs Area Foundation.
The Legacy will be decorated in a Valentine theme with balloons and table decorations.
There will be refreshments and a disc jockey, in addition to free pictures.
Jean Austin, president of the Hughes Springs Area Foundation board of directors, launched the first Father/Daughter Valentine Dance five years ago.
“The dances were well-attended and were very much enjoyed by all,” Mrs. Austin said.
