Early voting has begun in March 4 primary election

Early voting in the primary election began Feb. 18 and will end Feb. 28. The primary election is March 4.
In Cass and Morris counties positions open are for county clerk, district clerk, treasurer, county judge, commissioners of Precinct 2 and Precinct 4 and justices of the peace.
In Cass County the position of criminal district attorney is also open.
In Cass County on the Democratic ticket, those signing up to run are Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace Gina Bassham, County Clerk Jannis Mitchell, Tina M. Richardson for district attorney and Precinct 2 Commissioner Danny Joe Shaddix.
On the Republican ticket in Cass County, those signing up are Ralph K. Burgess for Justice, 6th Court of Appeals District, Place 3; Donald Dowd for county court at law judge; George Fite, Joe Harrison and Becky Wilbanks for county judge, Jamie Price Albertson, Pam Jaynes and Jessica Fitts for district clerk; Jamie A. O’Rand for county clerk; Donna Early for county treasurer, Jon Borseth for county commissioner Precinct 2; and Randal Lee and John McIntyre for criminal district attorney.
