Dear Editor:
I am a free thinking conservative, constitutionalist veteran. I, like all veterans, took an oath to protect and defend this country and our constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic. I was never relieved of that duty!
Our President seems determined to destroy our Constitution and rights while the majority of citizens sit watching this happen, and do nothing. He has shown us that he is incompetent, dishonest and has proven to be untrustworthy.
I don’t care if you are white, black, brown, red, yellow, purple or pink.
I don’t care if you are greeted on stage like a rock star, or are handsome with an  amazing public speaking ability.
Those are not reasons to vote for someone for any position of leadership within our Government.
I’ll be voting on your ideas and their adherence to our Constitution.
I will not vote for you because I know you, have heard of you, or heard you were a great person.
I will be doing my research and checking out your story as best I can.
I believe our Founding Fathers were very brilliant, and got it right when they created our Constitution, and with it, our style of Government.
It’s the ’idiots’ that followed that have “screwed it up”.
You want my vote? Impress me with your knowledge of the Constitution and your ideas of returning our country to its once grand state.
Show me the details of how you intend to return my rights, liberty, and freedoms, and you better have the personal history of supporting those ideas to back it up.
