Felony warrants issued for two suspects

Cass County Sheriff’s office issued warrants for two men after theft of pipe was discovered in Cass County, according to Sheriff Larry Rowe.
“On Jan. 21, at 2:20 a.m. Cass County deputies were dispatched to Highway 155 near Avinger to check out a call of an automobile accident,” Sheriff Rowe said.  “Upon arrival deputies contacted a white male, John Marvis McGill, 40, of Diana, who had wrecked a trailer load of drill stem pipe. He advised that he purchased the pipe in Texarkana at approximately the same time Marion County Sheriff’s office notified Cass County Sheriff’s office that there was another truck with pipe stuck off of Highway 155 at the Marion County/Cass County line.
