Three Daingerfield men were arrested March 1, on other charges during a process of serving warrants for traffic violations, according to Daingerfield Police Chief Tracey Climer.
“Officers TJ Frazier and Craig Swindler served several warrants in the city for traffic violations on March 1,” Chief Climer said. “When the officers went to a residence, they discovered both men at the residence to be in possession of marijuana. Arrested were Jerod Hendrix, 25, and Hosie Johnson, 73. Both were charged with a Class B misdemeanor, possession of marijuana under 2 ounces.
“Later the same day, Officers Frazier and Swindler attempted to serve traffic warrants and discovered Darrell Elliott, 47, to be in possession of marijuana, over 4 ounces, but under 5 pounds, which is a Class A misdemeanor and a state jail felony.”
