Amber Williams, 24, of Hughes Springs, was arrested March 3 and charged with possession of a controlled substance, according to Daingerfield Police Chief Tracey Climer.
“I was working on a theft case when I contacted Ms. Williams,” Chief Climer said. “She was found to be in possession of approximately 2 grams of methamphetamines. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance, over 2 grams and under 4 grams, which is a third degree felony.”
Third degree felonies are punishable by two to 10 years in prison and a maximum fine of $10,000.
