Gun discharged during dispute; no injuries were reported

An Omaha woman was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on March 15, according to Morris County Sheriff Jack Martin.
“Deputy Ken Thomas received a call of a disturbance involving weapons at a residence east of Omaha,” Sheriff Martin said. “Deputy Thomas responded, along with officers from the Omaha Police Department. Deputy Thomas’ investigation revealed Alicia Gail Ward, 51, of Omaha, had threatened family members and herself with a handgun. A relative attempted to wrestle the gun away from Ms. Ward and the weapon discharged during the struggle.
