Full name: Janet E. Larsen.
I have lived in: Daingerfield and Lone Star all my life.
Family: Husband, Miguel; son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Danielle; son, Jack Adam; and my precious granddaughters, Madison and Zoe.
 Pets: A very curious cat named Mr. Bella.
Occupation: Athletic secretary for Daingerfield High School.
One of the best things about my job is: It’s exciting and very rewarding to work with a great A/D, the coaches and terrific kids. They all work very hard to instill good sportsmanship and values in our students and athletes.
My ideal vacation is: Anywhere fun and with my family.
 
My heroes are: First, Jesus Christ because He is the only one who can save the world and second, Miguel for more reasons than I can name.
My favorite TV show is: HGTV and DIY.
My favorite healthy snack is: Fruit.
A cause I most believe in is: Better facilities for our students, teachers and staff; this community deserves to have something better.
If I could change one thing about East Texas, it would be: Not sure I would change anything.
The person who has influenced my life most is: No one has had a bigger influence on my life than God.
The scariest thing that ever happened to me was: Probably breast cancer.
If I had to do it all over again, I’d: Learn how to speak Spanish.
The most exciting or dangerous thing I’ve ever done was: I’ve done lots of exciting things during my lifetime, nothing very dangerous that I remember.
If I won a trip to anywhere, I would go to: Somewhere sunny and warm.
I would have liked to participate in the historical event of: Too many to name.
Two words that describe me are: Friendly and hardworking.
Included on my bucket list are: Seeing my granddaughters grow up.
I wish I had the courage to: I already have courage to do anything I want to do.
