Lauren Fennimore to attend annual conference in May

Lauren Fennimore of Mount Pleasant, a Northeast Texas Community College Psi Beta member, applied and received a scholarship to attend and present her research at the 26th Annual Association for Psychological Science (APS) Conference in San Francisco May 22-25. 
This honor was awarded by the National Psi Beta Honor Society in partnership with APS.  Fennimore competed with other Psi Beta students and only eight scholarships were awarded nationally.  The research conducted by the Psi Beta members was only a portion of the consideration for awarding the scholarships.
In addition to conducting the original research, Fennimore also demonstrated leadership in her local Psi Beta chapter, the college and her community.
