The Easter bunny will make two appearances for area children this spring. On Saturday, April 12, he will be at Spring Creek Park in Hughes Springs from 10 a.m. to noon.  Children of all ages through fifth grade may participate in the hunt.
Spring Creek Park is next door to City Hall on First Street. The event is sponsored by the First United Methodist Church’s Children and Youth Departments.
The Easter bunny will hop into the area Saturday, April 19, and he will be hiding eggs for area youngsters. The bunny plans to leave more than 4,000 candy-filled and prize eggs at the Daingerfield State Park. The hunt is the 20th Annual Easter Egg Hunt and begins at 11 a.m., sponsored by the Daingerfield Chamber of Commerce.
Bring your camera as the bunny will be happy to pose for pictures of your child.
There will be four age categories for children to participate in: 0 to 3 years old; 4 to 7 years old; 8 to 12 years old; and physically challenged.
Admission into the park is free. For further information, call Sheri at the Chamber at 903-645-2646.
