Lone Star holds cleanup during April

The city of Lone Star will have a city-wide cleanup during the month of April. The following guidelines will be in effect:
City Pickup – Come in to City Hall and pay $10 per load and then put your items on the curb for pickup.
Take trash to the Wastewater Treatment Plant for free – Monday to Friday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. or on Saturday 8 a.m. until noon.
Present copy of water bill to treatment plant attendant before dumping.
Separate limbs and brush from other trash.
No tires, batteries, paint, appliances containing Freon, or any hazardous other materials.
