Janecia Jackson graduates from The University of Texas at Tyler

Twenty Longview area students graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler on Friday, May 9. These students, who attended the UT Tyler Longview University Center, have successfully completed the bachelor of science in nursing program and are now prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nursing.
“We are very proud of these graduates,” said Dr. Helene Hakim, director of Longview Nursing Programs. “This was a very close knit group of students who worked diligently to successfully complete a challenging program. We wish them the best in their future endeavors.”
“It has been a pleasure getting to know these students,” said Dr. Van Patterson, director of the UT Tyler Longview University Center. “They have worked very hard to reach this goal and I’m confident that the skills they have learned will benefit our community long into the future.”
