World of William returns

Longview World of Wonders is once again working with the Texas Shakespeare Festival to present the World of William, an insider’s look at the annual festival at Kilgore College.
World of William, open from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. June 14, features a tour of the festival center, an actors’ workshop featuring improvisation and a pizza lunch. The event is open to children ages 5 to 11 who must be accompanied by an adult. Mail-in registration is available as is online registration. The registration fee includes the pizza lunch and a voucher to attend the festival’s children’s play, “The Lost Prince.” Registration deadline is June 10. Longview World of Wonders is a nonprofit organization working to open a hands-on children’s discovery center. Renovations are underway at the organization’s building at 112 E. Tyler St. in downtown Longview.
