Longview WOW fund-raiser

Longview World of Wonders invites East Texans to “Jump for WOW” on June 26, in a special fund-raiser supporting efforts to open a hands-on children’s discovery center in downtown Longview.
 
Jump for WOW is from 6 -7:30 p.m. June 26 at Pump It Up, 4000 Highway 259 in Longview. Children must be at least 34 inches tall to play. Cost is $9 per child. Pump It Up will donate a portion of the night’s proceeds to LongviewWOW.
 
Longview World of Wonders is a nonprofit organization that was established in 2009 to open a hands-on children’s discovery center. The group has been operating as a “museum without walls” since that time, staging fun and educational events at various locations. Renovations are now underway at the organization’s permanent home, at 112 E. Tyler St. in downtown Longview.
