Fowler is the 2014 Valedictorian for Daingerfield; Frazier is Salutatorian

The 2014 Valedictorian of the Daingerfield High School is Sam Fowler. He is the son of Alfred and Kim Fowler. Sam has been part of the National Honor Society, Student Council and in the Student Athletic Training Program. He has been on the State Math Team all four years. He is a two-time Number Sense State Championship Team Member and a Calculator State Team member. Sam has taken part in the FFA Program for three years. He advanced to State in Greenhand Skills and Farm Business Management. He is very active in his Youth Group at South Union Missionary Baptist Church. He has participated in four mission trips and served on a worship team for four years. Sam plans to attend Texas A&M University in the fall where he will major in chemical engineering. 
 
The Salutatorian is Luquarius Frazier, daughter of Alfreda Woodard-  King and Charley Frazier. Luquarius has been in the National Honor  Society for three yearswhere she is presently serving as vice-president. She is also a member of the Student Council, Leadership Team, Math Teach and Spanish Club. Luquarius has helped to mentor students for the past two years. She helps students establish a plan for their academic future by preparing them for the ACT and college applications. Luquarius is also very active in her church, New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Along with school and college courses, she manages to work at least 30 hours a week at a job. She plans to attend The University of North Texas, where she will major in biology to become a pediatrician. Other top graduates are Cassidy Shaver, daughter of Carole and Darrel Shaver. Cassidy plans to attend Southern Methodist University and major in electrical engineering with a biomedical specialization.
