Dedication service planned for Private Truitt

The public is invited to a Southern Confederate Veteran's dedication and marking for Private Edward Robinson Truitt, Company 1, 14 Texas Infantry. The service will be held at the Clark Cemetery in the Jenkins Community, Morris County, Saturday, June 14, at 10 a.m.
Private Truitt is the ancestor of Archie Otter Hass, Jr. and Mark A. Hass "Jumping Mouse", Comanche Native Indians. Archie Hass will play Amazing Grace on his custom-made, native Indian flute. The Lone Star Color Guard, Sons of Confederate Veterans, Upshur County Patriots, Camp 2109, will be overseeing the grave dedication and ceremony.
