I have lived in: Daingerfield for eight years.
Pets: One horse named Lightning.
Occupation: CNA/transporter for The Springs Nursing Center in Hughes Springs.
One of the best things about my job is: My residents.
My ideal vacation is: Being away with my husband alone, anywhere.
My hero is: My momma. She taught me how to be my own person, to have morals and treat others the way I want to be treated always.
My favorite TV show is: Sons of Anarchy.
My favorite healthy snack is: Bananas.
A cause I most believe in is: St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
If I could change one thing about East Texas, it would be: Cool weather all the time.
The person who has influenced my life most is: My husband. He has shown me that no matter how much can happen, whether it be good or bad, to always keep your head up and move on.
The scariest thing that ever happened to me was: Getting a phone call from my daughter’s school telling me that she had passed out on the track and emergency medical services was on the way. I was over 20 miles away.
If I had to do it all over again, I’d: Take better care of myself and finish school.
The most exciting thing I’ve ever done was: Watching my grandbaby being born and cutting the cord. Something I will never forget.
If I won a trip to anywhere, I would go to: Alaska and Wyoming.
Two words that describe me are: Kind and cautious.
Included on my bucket list are: To see the northern lights in Alaska.
