Resident appreciates Memorial Day coverage
Dear Editor:
I thought you covered the Memorial Day ceremony with great detail; pictures are always worth a 1000 words and you had several. I’m sure the guys in the Honor Guard appreciated the press coverage also. I have heard several positive comments on the street, at the coffee shop and received two phone calls and two e-mails. That is the most response I’ve heard in a long time. Well done! You may have over done my part somewhat; maybe you can focus on another member next time. In Pittsburg at the Memorial Day ceremony, they asked me to speak again on Veterans days at their Post 422 function in Pittsburg.
