Teammates capture Most Valuable Player awards

Dylan Moore, graduating senior at Hughes Springs High School, captured the Most Valuable Player in District 26-2A after his dominant season that finished with a 15-1 record on the mound. Chad McKinney of Hughes Springs was awarded the Defensive Most Valuable Player award.
 
Voting was conducted by the District coaches.
 
Making the First Team were Hughes Springs players Hunter Smith and Blake Walker, both outfielders. Second team superlatives were captured by Devin Carpenter of Hughes Springs, Keaton Key and Malik Higgins, both of Daingerfield.
 
Jacob Taylor, Hayden Smith and Asa Gaul made the Honorable Mention list.
