Amber Robinson of Daingerfield received the J. Travis Jackson General Education Development Scholarship sponsored by the Mount Pleasant Rotary Club.
Charlie Thompson of Daingerfield works with his pair of oxen, Will and Wes, to pull a wagon with a yoke in anticipation of entering them in the local parades later this year.

A grand opening and ribbon cutting is held for the new owners, Lisa and Scott Moore of the Hughes Springs’ Piggly Wiggly.
Ribbon-cutting ceremonies for an expansion project at Dr. Dennis Seymore’s Veterinary Clinic were held this week.
Daingerfield native Rosalyn Alsobrook publishes her third book. She is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. L.E. Rutledge.
