Simmons arrested as he flees out back door of residence

When a suspect decided to flee a residence, Lone Star Police Investigator Steven Blythe was waiting for him at the back door, according to Lone Star Police Chief Larry Fleet. “Quwanuh Simmons, 22, of Hughes Springs, was taken into custody July 25, by Investigator Blythe at the rear door of a residence as he was fleeing from
police,” Chief Fleet said. “Mr. Simmons was a person of interest in a burglary that occurred in Mount Pleasant. Information was obtained that the suspect Simmons arrested as he flees out back door of residence was possibly at a residence on Alamo Street in Lone Star.
